I know this is an old article but I feel like writing something about it. Du...is a 3D shoot 'em up video game that was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles and, as of 2003, is one of the most popular games on the system. The player takes control of Duke Nukem, who battles aliens and other enemies including bosses in order to save earth from an alien invasion. This game spawned several sequels with varying degrees of success, most notably Duke Nukem Forever which was infamously delayed due to numerous problems with its development. Also this game is the grandaddy of the franchise. It's an old shooter, released in 2001. It's worth saying that this game was released in two languages, English and Italian. The flip side is that the Italian localization was not very successful... I'm very sorry for my bad english but i hope you can understand what I'm saying :) The objective of the game is simple: rescue babes from aliens. To do this, you can use a wide selection of weapons to kill aliens and monsters through levels set in urban environments, underground caverns, tombs etc... The game has three episodes, but only the first one is really enjoyable. The second episode seems unfinished and the third is just awful. The game has nice graphics with an acceptable framerate on psx , but the camera is absolutely unplayable on this platform. Believe me, you'll spend more time trying to find an appropriate angle to shoot aliens than shooting them ;) To improve the experience there's another console port of duke nukem 3d called Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition, which adds a couple of new levels, a better gameplay and a smoother gameplay even if it's still plagued by a very bad camera. Here are some screenshots of duke nukem 3d. The game is really fun for Duke Nukem fans, but it's worth to play it only for this very reason. One more thing...
